DJ Swank plays a deep, filthy
blend of house, electro, breaks, and more. Swank also plays rock, punk, hip hop, classics
and don’t be surprised to hear a few nasty mash ups thrown in the mix. in a
nutshell Swank has a very versatile style that can satisfy any party hungry
crowd.
History
DJ Swanks musical background
reaches back to a young age and after he was exposed to the Chicago underground house scene he
immediately felt at home. his legendary 4 year residency at Harry's velvet room
helped devolved his unique deep style, as well as a sense for making people
groove all night long.
In the past 2 years Swank has been
booked playing throughout Europe as well as the US and working intensely on
original productions. In 2001 DJ Swank teamed up with Jimmy Bell, Sony Miguel,
Alex West and Nick Hussey 4 of the finest up and coming producers in the UK at the (WMC in Miami) and formed The Garage Council. They
immediately started producing original house music and hosting amazing events
in Europe and the US there annual birthday party blow out held in Amsterdam has
reached legendary status....
Currently Swank is focused on his
original production as well as remix work and has been touring world wide,
spreading his sound across dance floors everywhere. My mission as a DJ is to
touch as many people as i can with the power of music. |
